Swimming areas and boat rentals

Your perfect summer day begins between green and blue at Möhnesee. You can enjoy the sun and refresh yourself in the water at the two public bathing areas and the lido. Some boat rental companies offer the opportunity to explore Lake Möhnesee on various boats and learn how to use a SUP. After a strenuous day of swimming, the restaurants around the lake will welcome you with delicious refreshments to round off the day.

If you are out and about with a SUP or a boat, please make sure that you respect the shore areas and do not disturb or destroy any sensitive plants or animals. Keep your distance from designated nature reserves and keep the lake and shore clean! Also make sure you read the recreational regulations of the Ruhrverband.
