The Möhnesee as a fishing paradise
The Möhnesee is one of the most famous pike waters in Germany. Against a magnificent natural backdrop, it offers guests great fishing opportunities. Excellent fish stocks attract fishing specialists such as predatory fish expert Uli Beyer, who can regularly be found on the water.
Fishing licenses and boat stickers
A fishing permit (fishing license) in conjunction with a valid fishing license is required for fishing at the Ruhrverband lakes. Fishing licenses are available as a day ticket, two-day ticket, weekly ticket and annual ticket. An e-motor sticker is required for fishing on the lakes with an electric motor. For
a boat larger than 7 m2 a boat sticker is also required.
